Glorious&Free
Rita & Kim
We helped two first-time co-authors launch a book about Canadian counter-culture during Canadiana’s most commoditized time in history — our 150th birthday. The book, Glorious & Free, isn’t your typical Canadiana book. It’s not about mounties and maple syrup; it’s a showcase of what it means to be a modern Canadian. We aren’t timid, predictable, conservative, or homogenous – but diverse, creative, leading pioneers today.
So to promote the book, we focused on the belief behind it and championed the contemporary Canadian. We created a brand manifesto that questioned our traditions, challenged our stereotypes, and the very meaning of the Canadian Oath of Citizenship. We also created a website that explored the incredible array of game-changing Canadians featured in the book.
Ultimately, we didn’t just help them promote a remarkable book. We helped them create a brand, better yet, a platform for all Canadians to stand on and a place to showcase the lives who truly live glorious and free.
